horselessrider asked: I love what you're doing with the candidates in the California elections. Do you think you could do that for Pennsylvania? I know that I, personally, would appreciate it greatly. I'd definitely point a lot of my friends to it as well. As a younger voter that is relatively new to politics, I (and many of my peers) would benefit from an easy-to-understand breakdown of the issues that define the election races in our state. I want to vote, as I think it is one of the single greatest rights that we as citizens have, but I do not want to vote without being fully informed.
I completely understand if you don't have time, but would be extremely grateful for even a less detailed version of what you are doing for California.
On a side note, I love the blog. You post very smart articles and make informed remarks when you can. It is one blog that I truly enjoy seeing on my dashboard. Keep it up. : )
Once I finish California, I’ll try and do something for Pennsylvania.
In any election, you can abstain from voting for a certain race. So even if you only really know which senatorial candidate you want to vote for, go to the polls and just vote for that person and nothing else. People shouldn’t be afraid to vote because they aren’t informed on every issue.
People who are completely uninformed should not vote. But even if you just go to vote for a senator and one or two propositions you’ve researched and support, I really encourage you to hit the polls and let your voice be heard.

I can take on a PA guide if you’d like. We don’t have any statewide ballot measures this year, it’s strictly elected offices and the answers are easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Didn’t Ciji have a great website that sussed out the issues for each state? You’d answer questions and it showed you what candidates best represented your viewpoints? There’s no excuse to be uninformed! (Says the girl who can’t find the website!)
