This is what I think every time someone talks about how few people are actually being patted down

this is so stupid. seriously, it makes me so angry. i can’t wait until there’s another terrorist attack on america and everyone whines that airport security isn’t tight enough. seriously. whats more important, your personal space, or your life? so what if its an invasive pat down? its not like its sexual, you’re not being molested. people will literally just complain about ANYTHING that they can. absolutely anything. you’re all fucking bored. thats why this world is going to hell.

also this isn’t open for discussion. i don’t plan to argue with anyone. just spitting out my opinion. that is all.

Um, that’s not how the internet works. You can’t just say “I disagree with everything here, you’re all fucking bored and the reason the world is going to hell… but I don’t plan to argue.”

It’s nice that you’re looking forward to a terrorist attack so that you can feel right. My personal space or my life? I didn’t feel my personal space was violated before these scanners and pat-downs were implemented, and there hasn’t been a terrorist attempt originating in an American airport since 9/11. Both the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber were flying in from Europe. So why should I have to give up personal space now? to feel safer? the previous post-9/11 safety measures were 100% effective on all flights within America.

If you really believe it’s a matter of personal space or death then I gotta ask, how many more civil liberties are you willing to give up to feel safe?
