Why can’t today’s homophobes and haters see that gay marriage is the civil rights movement of our generation? “OK, we were wrong about the prohibition thing, and we lost the whole interracial marriage/integrated schools battle, and women can vote even though we didn’t think that was a great idea, but we are DEFINITELY not letting the gays marry! No way, no how!”
Equality: always a winning political proposition.
