Sorry to talk about the infamous hot topic, but I would just like to make a quick statement. I was/(am?) pro-choice for the past 3 years. You know, if you get prego, you should have the choice to make it go away. I know that if I were to ever get preggers, I would most definitely abort it, rather than come to my parents and tell them I’m pregnant. F that.

However, I don’t know what came over me yesterday to go on google images and type in abortion. Literally, I have no clue where the urge came from. So I did, and was traumatized. Those images told me something. Abortion was no longer “getting rid of it”, but it was “killing a baby”. Have a look for yourself, HERE.

I guess my conclusion is that I am both pro-life and pro-choice. If you’re going to get an abortion, it should be within the first 8 weeks (first trimester?), and that’s it. Afterwards there is no way one can deny that it’s a baby in your stomach. Society/science made us numb by giving the name fetus to the baby that’s growing. You know, even at 8 weeks and less, it’s still a tiny, tiny baby. I guess it just makes it easier to think of because we can not physically see that it’s a baby. So yeah, abortion after 8 weeks is not cool.

Fetuses are not babies, that’s not an attempt to numb you to anything, it’s a fact.

90% of abortions are done before the first-twelve weeks (that’s the first trimester 1-12 weeks). Until 12 weeks the fetus does not have a separate head.

And lastly, the fetus is not in your stomach. That would require you to eat the fetus. Fetuses are in the womb.
