Someone stole The Battleship, an orange 1972 BMW, between 12:30AM and 10:00AM this morning. If you see it driving in or around Los Angeles, please call 911 and report it. MAKE: BMW, YEAR: 1972, MODEL: 2002tii, LICENSE: 5KUA195, COLOR: Orange The car has a decal in the rear windshield that says “La Mirada,” brass-colored honeycomb-looking wheels, and it has two T-bars instead of front bumper (the front license plate is mounted on one of the bars). The circular housing for the rear lights is also a distinctive feature, common to all 2002tii’s.  Please keep an eye out! I’d be happy to give a substantial monetary reward to anyone who reports the car, and helps get it back to me. My dad and I spent years restoring the car before he passed it on to me; it has much more value to me than what it has been appraised to be worth. Thanks!
