ajonesco asked: Perhaps you missed the point of my post that you just reblogged. The side-by-side was meant to illustrate how aggressive and petty the Republican party tends to be, even in their official offerings. It was intended to ridicule it -- those traits are nothing to be proud of.
However, Jess once said: "I have always been proudly, aggressively petty and this blog has always reflected that."
I was ridiculing the tactics, not just the party. Your blog and you as a person are no better than them. If you thought their tactics were ridiculous, perhaps you need to change your own methods.
