garytheduck2 asked: I saw this little gem on Fox news a week or so ago on what poor people own. 99% of poor people have a refrigerator! The Horror. I don't know how to send you the link but you might like to post it so I put it on my blog.

I once told a Libertarian that our medical system wasn’t that great if people couldn’t afford it, and he was like, “Well the majority of US households have a TV.” Again, two things: 1) a TV is exponentially cheaper than a year of health insurance for a family of 4, 2) seriously? The poor can’t own ANYTHING?

  6. rantingnraging said: ugh makes me so mad. so you get your income tax refund, a couple grand maybe. do you somehow make that last a year for insurance? or do you buy the one luxury you likely get a year?? poor people aren’t allowed to do anything but work!
